Summary List of Nationalist Candidates Standing
Below is s list by county with each Local Electoral Area (LEA’s) and total no. of seats – there are 949 seats waiting to be filled – the intended purpose for creating this summary list is as follows:
- Candidates – Use this as a guide to help find the right LEA to run helping to the spread the independents to maximise choices for all voters and seat wins – trying to avoid too many independents clustering in the same few LEA’s where too many are competing for too few seats, get an overview to pick the right area – click the LEA to see past results and candidate makeup.
- Voters – Use this as a guide to see exactly how many candidates you need to vote for (including transfers) and to also know when to stop voting by applying the #NotOneVote method (i.e. no vote, not one single vote, not one vote transfer to any established or existing politicians) – for e.g. if there are only 4 seats but 8 independents running, then you vote 1 through 8 in order of preference and stop there.
Clicking an LEA link will take you to the 2019 result page hosted on the very useful electoral tracking website www.electionsireland.org
Ind = Independent / non-pp
Party (Grouped) = Ireland First, Irish Freedom Party, Irish People, National Party
